Vertical cracking present Spine Lettering and Label: Black title ribbon present. Lettering present, gilding fading. Vertical cracking through title ribbon. Cover: Noticeable wear marks around edges and outer corners. Horizontal scratch line a third down from the top edge. Identifiable scratch mark at top right corner. Binding: spine/cover hinge broken. cover boards separated from spine. Front and back endpapers present Title Page: Unique horizontal cockling between subtitle and top paragraph and another at line between lower paragraph and author line. Slight darkening around perimeter edge. Text: Horizontal cockling throughout first few text pages. Very clean, no recorded markings. Signs of blue speckling on text block edge.
