Simmons Sept 20, 2000 stating this volume came from Isreal A Smith, (President of RLDS, Great grandson of Joseph Smith) given to Wayne Simmons in 1952, claiming the volume had belonged to Joseph Smith and “found in the attic of the Smith home”, Wayne and Verneil’s son Neil who had the pages preserved.
